I bought one of these for Ananya (my daughter, 2.5 years old) about a month ago but she didn’t get into it much. Then I bought a pair of them for my niece and nephew (3.5 and 5 years old) and they loved ’em. My sister, their mom, told me that the two of them played with them for 2 hours in the garage with the lights off and that she was planning on buying a few of them for the children of friends of hers… and at $9 per head lamp, she was really impressed with the price.
Now I feel ashamed. My wife knowing my fascination with flashlights , batteries and anything out of the ordinary got me one of these years ago.
I still have it beside my desk for those times I need to crawl under my desk and into my PC.
I know when I first got it I played with it for hours also…. but I was 38 years old at the time !
I am just a big kid at heart.
🙂
Nothing to be ashamed of. If you look at the Geekdad blog, you’ll notice a trend of Dads buying cool toys “for their kids”. Similar to a friend’s suggestion the other day, as we played Tennis on my Wii, that he would get his wife a Nintendo Wii for Mother’s Day (because surely *she* would like nothing more!)
